Nestlé India continued its annual association with the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja celebrations during Ganesh Utsav, bringing together its popular food and beverage brands with the festive atmosphere of Mumbai.
As devotees and visitors gathered for the celebrations, the company created a consumer experience at Digvijay Mill featuring dedicated zones for MAGGI, KITKAT, MUNCH and NESCAFÉ. The initiative provided visitors with an opportunity to engage with familiar products while being part of the festive environment.
The association brought together food, community and Mumbai’s vibrant festive spirit, while giving Nestlé India an opportunity to connect directly with consumers during one of the city’s prominent annual celebrations.
Consumer Zones Created at Digvijay Mill
Nestlé India set up dedicated consumer zones at Digvijay Mill during the festivities. The spaces featured MAGGI, KITKAT, MUNCH and NESCAFÉ, offering visitors a chance to enjoy familiar favourites in a festive setting.
The initiative received enthusiastic participation from visitors. Through these consumer-focused activities, Nestlé India created an experience around products that are part of everyday moments for many consumers.
The company’s presence at the celebration also provided an opportunity to connect its brands with the cultural and festive environment surrounding Lalbaugcha Raja.
Traditional Modaks Prepared with MILKMAID
A special element of the association was Nestlé India’s offering of traditional Modaks to Lalbaugcha Raja. The Modaks were prepared using MILKMAID, bringing together a traditional festive delicacy and a familiar household product.
Modak is closely associated with Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and holds an important place in the festive tradition. By preparing the offering with MILKMAID, Nestlé India connected the traditional sweet with one of its established products.
MILKMAID has been familiar to Indian households for generations and is used in the preparation of both traditional and contemporary desserts. Its use in the Modaks added a distinct Nestlé element to the festive offering.
Bringing ‘Good Food, Good Life’ to the Celebration
Nestlé India’s association with Lalbaugcha Raja reflects the company’s effort to create consumer experiences around food, familiar flavours and shared occasions.
The association also connects with Nestlé’s purpose of “Good Food, Good Life”. The company describes this purpose in the context of the role food can play in creating moments of enjoyment, connection and everyday wellbeing.
At Digvijay Mill, the different brand zones brought together products that consumers commonly associate with everyday occasions. MAGGI, NESCAFÉ, KITKAT and MUNCH were presented within the festive environment, allowing visitors to experience familiar products while participating in the celebrations.
Celebrating Mumbai’s Festive Spirit
Lalbaugcha Raja has a prominent place in Mumbai’s Ganesh Utsav celebrations and attracts devotees and visitors during the festive period. The celebrations bring people together through shared traditions, devotion and community participation.
Nestlé India’s continued association with the celebration placed its consumer engagement activities within this broader festive setting. The experience at Digvijay Mill combined brand interaction with the atmosphere of Ganesh Utsav.
The MILKMAID Modak offering added a traditional dimension to the company’s participation, connecting a familiar festive preparation with the brand’s presence at the celebrations.
Focus on Consumer Engagement
Nestlé India’s activation during Ganesh Utsav focused on creating direct engagement with visitors through its portfolio of popular brands. The consumer zones and festive offering provided different ways for visitors to interact with the company during the celebrations.
Rohit Jain, Activation Head at Nestlé India, contributed to the company’s consumer engagement initiatives and supported its presence and connection with visitors during the festivities.
The company’s participation brought together its brands, familiar flavours and festive traditions at Digvijay Mill. Alongside the consumer experience, the MILKMAID Modak offering provided a traditional element to Nestlé India’s continued association with Lalbaugcha Raja.
